GOD'S PLAN

Some years ago, I was at a crossroads in my life. We worked in the ministry led by Colin Urquhart, and I was working with leaders and headed up “The Hyde Leaders Weeks.” These were times when church leaders would come aside to meet with God and experience a fresh anointing on their lives. Things were changing, and we knew it was time to end these weeks.
As this was unfolding, I was at peace until people started asking me, “What are you going to do once the Leaders Weeks have come to an end?” This created a disturbance in me, and I started to ask myself, "What is next?” A short time later, as I was reading my daily Bible reading in Ephesians 2, I came to verse 10 and wow!
Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” This verse was life-changing and set me free from the fear and uncertainty I was feeling.
The next person who asked me the “What next?” question received the answer. “What am I going to do?” “I’m going to do the good works that God has prepared in advance for me to do.” This prompted some strange reactions, and I then explained the sequence of events that led to this answer.
God was utterly faithful, and as life continued, my peace remained steadfast, and opportunities to pursue God’s work opened up across the UK and many countries in mainland Europe.
Isaiah 30:21 says, “Whether you turn to the right or the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’ Many times, we face the need to find the right course in our lives. God is utterly faithful and will help you make the right decision.
We are living in uncertain times, and the news bombards us with the latest international crisis. At these times, we need to know God’s faithfulness and see that He has a perfect plan for each of us.
