Charles from Cornwall, and Joyce from Liverpool were married in 1965 and immediately became fully involved with a youth work centred on their home in Cornwall, which grew from small beginnings to over 200. During this time Charles was also working in the family business in Redruth.

The call to full-time ministry came when Charles was asked to be the Coordinator of Cornwall Mission, which was a county wide initiative to encourage evangelism, and culminated in 10 days of special meetings led by David Watson in Truro Cathedral. They then moved to Sussex to work with Colin Urquhart, where Charles travelled with Colin, and later led the Hyde Leaders Weeks which had a great impact on pastors and ministers from UK and abroad.

Charles and Joyce were closely involved in the Faith Camps held at Peterborough before pioneering Eagle Camp where many people met God in new and transforming ways. After their time in Sussex with Kingdom Faith Ministries they moved to the Bristol area and continued to travel widely in ministry, mainly on the continent in Sweden, Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary and East Germany as well as within the UK.

In 1990 they planted Living Waters Church in Clevedon and were the senior leaders until  they handed the responsibility to their son Daniel and his wife Tanya.

Charles' first book, “A Man under Authority” focussed on equipping and enabling leaders to serve God more effectively. He has also written “Help yourself to Health and two Bible Reading Plans. Joyce’s first two books are practical teaching to enable folk to hear God’s voice more clearly; the title of her first book is “Can you hear God? and the second “Is there a Word from the Lord?

Joyce’s latest book “What do these stones mean? was published in July 2009. It was inspired by the account of Joshua leading God’s people across the Jordan, when twelve memorial stones were taken from the river to remind the people of God’s faithfulness. Joyce writes about the twelve key things that have impacted and moulded her life.

In 2012 "Faith Food for Every Day" was published, it is a daily devotional drawn from the Word for the Week messages which had been written over a period of more than ten years. It is intended to encourage and implant a faith dimension into daily life.

Charles and Joyce are still actively involved with Living Waters Church.  In addition to ministry in UK, they regularly travel abroad and have also spent time in USA, Singapore and Cambodia.

They have five married children and eighteen grandchildren.
