I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU

I love the words God spoke to Moses just before he died, when God told him not to be afraid and promised He would never leave him nor forsake him.
They are recorded in Deuteronomy 31:6, “Be strong and courageous…for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
God speaks similar words to Joshua after commissioning him to lead Israel following Moses’ death. These words are repeated in Joshua 1:5.
Again, in Hebrews 13:5, the writer repeats these words as he gives his concluding exhortations at the end of his letter. “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Let His strength and courage support you. God has promised you His presence. Life’s circumstances change and can be very challenging, but whatever is happening, God has His strong arms around you. He is giving you peace, love, wisdom, and direction. He is protecting you from fear and anxiety, leading you forward, and helping you in every situation you face.
Several of our friends have had bereavements during the past year, and we have been amazed as we have seen them living through this life change, but not alone.
They have testified to finding God’s help, peace, wisdom, love and care, and living with the knowledge and hope of: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
