Gifts of the Holy Spirit
Earlier this year 2010, Charles & Joyce were invited to teach a group of people in Wrington on The Gifts of the Spirit. The teaching was given in an informal setting with a break for coffee and refreshments. So enjoy these rather relaxed and interactive sessions – they are very practical and will be life transforming if you make the teaching a reality in your life.
Week 1 – The Gifts of the Holy Spirit
This is teaching based mainly on 1 Corinthians 12: 7-11. This is the second part of the teaching, unfortunately we do not have the first part recorded. However, we believe this will be helpfull as Charles and Joyce seek to take some of the mystery that has surrounded this subject for many years. It is life related and accessible.
Week 2 – The Gifts that Encourage, Strengthen and Comfort
Paul clearly says that prophecy in the New Testament will bring encouragement, strength and comfort. Those words need not necessarily be spoken in a church gathering, but are words that God can give to us and for us to give to others in the every day situations of life.
Week 3 – Gifts of Faith in everyday life.
The scriptures say that “Without faith it is impossible to please God,” so we need to see that we are exercising faith in every part of our lives. We need faith for the big challenges but also in the smallest details of our daily life.
Week 4 – Gifts that bring healing and wholeness
God is a healing God, to the Israelite nation he declared, “I am the Lord who heals you.” We need healing in our lives, not only for the physical problems that we encounter but for the emotional hurts and the disappointments and difficulties of life.
