ENJOYING LIFE

Our Father God wants us to live life to the full, and to that end He has given us “everything we need for life and godliness.” (2 Peter 1:3)
First, He gives us Himself by the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. We don’t have to go to a special place to meet with Him, or go through certain rituals. He is within us and couldn’t be closer than that!
He is the personification of wisdom, wiser than Solomon. Colossians 2:3 says, “In whom are hidden all the riches of wisdom and knowledge.” When you ask for wisdom, He gives it freely in every area of life.
He is your source of peace. Lack of stress has great benefits physically, mentally and emotionally. You have within you “the Prince of Peace” able to calm every anxious thought, take every care and worry and walk you through to practical answers.
He is the source of joy, and joy releases strength and well being. I could go on bragging about our wonderful Saviour.
Recently, whilst gathered with our Church congregation I had a vision of the people each with what looked like a laser target on their bodies. “What am I seeing?” I asked. The answer came in these words, “My people are marked out for blessing, I want to prosper them in every area of life. I want to bless them, but some won’t let me.” As I pondered this, I realised afresh that you can offer a gift, but it also must be received!
There are times when we meet together to worship corporately and to encourage each other by sharing what He has been doing in our lives and to join together in praise and thanksgiving and support. However, make sure nothing hinders your personal connection with the living God. Our enemy satan always targets that awareness and seeks to isolate us.
You can trust yourself or you can trust the Almighty One, who has done everything needed to redeem you, to indwell you and to bless you.
Will you let Him?
