ALL YOU NEED
18th Mar 2020
The Lord often speaks to me through the words of old hymns and songs, reminding me of the truths and certainties that I need to bring to the forefront of my mind.
Today I woke with a song written by a friend of ours, Ruth Fazal. The words are inspired by Psalm 121 and are the answer to the psalmist’s question, “Where does my help come from?”
Refrain
Jesus, You are all I need
The very Bread on which I feed
Your life gives life, You sustain my breath
Jesus you are all I need
1. In the storm you are my hiding place
In the time of trouble my place of rest
I hear you say, “It is I, don’t be afraid”
Jesus, You are all I need
2. Speak the word and I will come
As I learn to trust in You alone
To walk upon the waters of my life
Jesus, You are all I need
3. I entrust my heart to Yours
For you speak the words of Life to me
There is no other one to whom I will go
Jesus, You are all I need

Our help comes from the maker of heaven and earth, He constantly watches over us; day and night are the same to Him, He never sleeps. Psalm 121:7-8 says, “The Lord will keep you from all harm, he will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and evermore.”
Proverbs 1:33 states that, “Whoever listens to him will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.” So commit your way to Him, trust Him and don’t be afraid. Expect to be led by the Spirit of God, ask Him about the practical things of life, He will give you creative inspiration if you are having to restrict your movements.
Why not listen to all your old Worship CD’s? Sort out your photographs and other tasks you never find time to do! Entrust yourself to Jesus, and as you do you will find His love, wisdom and presence will comfort and sustain you.
